Eusebio Rafael Camilo Abreu (n. Moca, 1948) is a sociologist, historian, economist and politician from the Dominican Republic. He was the General Director of the General Direction of Customs of the Dominican Republic and member of Economic Cabinet during the last presidency of Leonel Fernández. Until 15 September 2014, it exerted as the supermanager of Banking of the Dominican Republic, designated on 16 August 2012, by the President Danilo Medina. == Biography == He was born on 12 September 1948, son of Juan M. Camilo and Ana Josefa Abreu. He graduated from the School of Sociology of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo. He did a Masters in Economy, in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and a Doctorate in History, from the University of Seville, Spain. In the academic field he has been professor and researcher in the areas of Economy Dominicana, Underdevelopment Sociology and Politics for the UASD and for the Technologic Institute of Santo Domingo. He has published essays, articles, in newspapers, magazines and textbooks.
